We live in a critical time in history. The future of humanity and the world is in danger unless radical change is adopted. This change must focus primarily not on the external realities of the world, but on the interior mysteries of our being. God is not going to destroy humanity, nor is God going to bring the world to an end. But, collectively and progressively, we have involved ourselves in a complex process of self-destruction and so have endangered the world and all creation. This process of self-destruction gathers its force and momentum in the ideology that anything and everything can be exploited and consumed for profit and our own satisfaction. The result is disorder. The disorder begins with misplaced priorities in our hearts and leads to disorder socially, politically, culturally, economically, environmentally, and spiritually. This produces chaos and destruction—gradual at first, but escalating.
What does this all mean? Is the world going to end? No. Is humanity going to be wiped out completely? No. We are passing from one time to another. One civilization is dying, and another will emerge. We are in a transition.
